8 AM - Saturday morning my son Tom and one of his friends and I got up and took a portable batting cage and pitching machine to University school for their fall festival. They did a great job getting businesses there and creating a ton of things for the kids to do. We had a steady flow of kids hitting from 9 til 3 in the afternoon and it was a bit hard to never stop for a break...I just hope it will have been worth it and it brings some more customers to us. As soon as we packed up and got the stuff back to the store we headed straight to a double header and made it home around 11 that night. We lost both games. Two players were taken out because of injuries during play (one was Tom)..but overall the team played the best games I've seen them play.
Sunday has been nice. A lot of much needed rest. Had bible study this evening at nbta and all of us ended up at Cancun restaurant for fellowship and great food. Would be nice to have a few more days like today...but Monday always comes.
