So I am working away yesterday knowing that I have to get some things done by this weekend for the Cottage Cove fund raiser. Around noon Brent, the executive director of Cottage Cove calls me with a few questions. After we get through it all I tell him that I may not be able to help set up this weekend because of a few things that I have to do. Brent was quiet for a moment and then said, "Well...I wouldn't worry about it this weekend since it's not til next weekend!" So thankfully, I've got another week to get some things done!

Had a really nice lady come in early evening with her three kids. She seemed real excited that she found a batting cage inside a mall! She wanted to use a cage and feed the machine so her kids could practice their batting. She kept turning around and saying to me "This is the greatest thing to have in a mall! I can't believe you're in a mall!" After watching the kids swing a bit she told me that she was a single mom and asked me if I could help show her boys how to hit. Of course I did and it was great to watch the boys start hitting instead of just swinging at air. They stayed for an hour and before they left she booked NBTA for her "twins" birthday party that will be coming up in January. Birthday parties are usually a pain because there are so many kids running around...but the kids have so much fun and usually we get a few kids who didn't know about us come back to take lessons.

So today I hope to get some things done. Think I'll kick in my winter ebay program and see if I can drum up some cash flow.
