getting
closer...
As an independent who leans a bit more to the republican view, though I certainly don't agree with everything they stand for either, I find it refreshing that we now possibly have a little more balance of power. It's still going to be a disaster as far as how our government officials think what is the best for America (or should I say what's best for them!) and the world, but at least it may give us a little more time before the final bombs are dropped to end what we know and have come accustomed to. So until the change takes place, I think I'll keep working with kids and continue on in spreading the Good News to as many as I can.

In Robert Penn Warren's poem "Old-Time Childhood in Kentucky," a young boy says to his grandfather, "'what do you do, things being like this?'" The grandfather answers, "'All you can. . . . Love your wife, love your get, keep your word, and if need arises, die for what men die for. There aren't many choices. And remember that truth doesn't always live in the number of voices."
It's going to be a great and horrible day when Jesus comes!
