Rest in knowing...

"Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel which means, God with us."

"Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"

"God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him."

"For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, especially of believers."

"...and He himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not only ours only, but also for those of the whole world."

"All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and us to the ministry of reconciliation; that is, God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation."

Interesting phrasing: "we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, especially of believers." I don't have my concordance handy. Where is this verse?

1 Timothy 4:10 is what you're looking for Michael. Yes, not many pastors know it or preach on that particular verse. It kinda messes up their theology!
