Go Colts!

Since the Titans didn't make it or the Denver Broncos...it's time my wife and I become Colts fans...although my son (pictured here with his crutches, girlfriend Ellis, and Jay Cutler of the Denver Broncos) has decided that the Bears will be his team. This will make for a nice quiet Super Bowl Sunday at our house!

So...we're watching the Colts and Patriots and I have to say that this was a great game to watch. I really didn't care who would win...but when they started interviewing the owners and coaches after the game, I made my decision. Good men with great words for their opponents...Praising and giving God the glory...I like that. Go Colts!

Wasn't it kind of weird seeing the Colts playing . . . Baltimore? I guess I'm still not used to either Indianapolis or the Ravens.

Yea...I still call them Baltimore too. In fact, I wrote it out when I was posting this and had to go back and edit it! The man that always comes to mind when I see that uniform is #19 Johnny Unitas...

Johnny Unitas, Bart Starr.. boy, those were the days, eh? Back when football was always played outdoors, on real grass, in the rain and in the snow. Back when the real heros of the game would have never imagined multi-million dollar salaries. I remember that time too. Makes me feel awfully old though!
