And on the 7th day...we worked! Baseball is in full swing even though the schools are still in their basketball season. Yesterday was our first Sunday to be open for the new year. I love this time of year, but it certainly does wear me out! I will miss my Sunday afternoon naps...but so thankful that we are able to work with so many great parents, kids, and teams.
We had two 14 year old teams come in back to back...and though most people know that I reserve the store for teams on Sundays, we had quite a few come by to see if they could sneak in a batting session just in case the teams weren't using the whole facility. Die hard baseball folks...I love 'em!
7 days a week will probably go on for the next 3 or 4 months...We've hired a new trainer and looking for another one...and trying to figure out how not to turn away anyone when they call. I know it will be hard to get everyone in the doors, but we're going to do our best to get everyone in. Welcome to spring training!

I'm glad to hear that business is good! Our lives are so different from those days that began at DJ's coffeeshop and ended in your recording studio!
