Usually we have anywhere from 8 to 15 people show up. We never have a head count, take up collections, or have any long drawn out sermons! Everyone that comes participates by being involved in the topic that whoever leads brings us. Of course the topic is taken from the Scriptures. From the youngest to the oldest...we are a very diverse group of people. We have very different understanding of scripture, and our doctrines vary depending on our church background. But what is amazingly fresh...no one tries to "convert" the other to believe their way. We just stick to scripture and continue to pray that the Lord reveals HIS WILL and understanding to each of us. It's a simple process. Pray for God to lead and teach, read and work through the Scriptures, and ask for revelation and understanding from our Father.
So in just a little while...I'm heading out the door. Let there be baseball, and let the glory of the Lord shine as we serve our risen Saviour.

sure sounds like a labor of love for you Mark.
PLAY BALL!!!!
AMEN...
Yes, it is a labor of love. I can't believe the Lord allows me to do this for now! I loved baseball as a kid, and now my son is going off to college to play the game! Can't wait to see his first game! What a great God. What a great Father.
I hope you get to do this on and on. And I hope you get the location near Starbucks. That would simplify your life!
