Brilliant!

"Runner one...You're out! Runner two...You're safe!" yelled the umpire. I can't remember exactly what the scenario was, but a hit to the outfield got our runners running. Tom was on first base behind Daniel who was on second or possibly third. Tom ran so fast that he caught up to Daniel as they both came barrelling down the third base line. The throw was good and the catcher was able to tag Daniel out but he just wasn't fast enough to make the tag on Tom.

In all the games I've watched over the years, including the billion of MLB games on TV, I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like this! Amazing base running and an amazing picture from the photographer of ALL-Star Fotos! You can bet I've ordered this picture from them!

Now here's the stupid news of this event...In my hand I was holding our video camera! I had been filming Tom and a few other players that I'm working with on their hitting while they were at bat. When this play happened, I was so caught up in it that I never even thought of filming!!!!!!!!!! Another amazing feat accomplished by a brilliant photographer!

Great picture!!!! And great story about your video camera. I've done the same thing in similar situations.

Wow, what a paly, what a picture, I too have never seen anything like that. Maybe this is one of those moments that is best left to your memory and the still shot!!

I do not have a video camera. My kids would not let me buy one when it would have made sense to have one and after they left it just didn't make good sense...

Have you seen Dennis's finished light house??? It is fantastic. Peace, john
