What a way to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary! Becky, Tom, and I share a moment between the double header that Tom played today with the Nashville Braves. For about six solid hours we sat in our lawn chairs under a perfect blue sky with white clouds drifting about from the nice breeze that kept us fairly comfortable for the day. Thankfully, the Braves won both games and Tom had a great day at bat and on defense. After the game we went to one of our favorite places to eat, the Outback and then headed to some friends house to see their daughter who just came home for a quick visit.
So as the day ends we're back home and would you ever guess? Becky and I are sitting in the living room watching...another baseball game! Vanderbilt against Michigan and it looks like it will end as a perfect game day. Vandy's winning 9 to 5 and it's the top of the eighth. Life just can't get much better than this.

Ok - Happy anniversary!!! is that the same game that Vandy lost? i am rooting for them and for the Vols softball team......... actually I am rooting for Flordia State in the baseball.... are they still in? For your 30th, I suggest a cruise................ peace brother, john
Vandy lost tonight! Can't believe it. They are out of it now. Lady Vols are still in it. Florida State...don't know. As far as taking a cruise...I'll keep me feet on solid ground! Blessings! mark
