Proud and really, really sad.

So the day finally came. After Tom signed in and we unloaded his things into his dorm room...we had to leave. The past week has been sad, but now that we're back home, I'm pretty sure this is going to take a little time for me to find my place without my son by my side.

Looks like the empty nest syndrome hit you, but think of it this way, you have raised a handsome wonderful kid with the right beliefs who you are letting loose for the world to emjoy.

You work hard to get them prepared for this day...but forget that you have to prepare for it too!

Congrats. I agree with Ruth - Tom's being let loose for the benefit of many. Now, go kiss your wife.

God Bless ya!

Even though it's "race weekend" here in east Tennessee, we'll find you a place to stay, so get in the car and come on over!
