Weekend madness.

It started Friday around midnight. I'm sure some of you have gone through this...but this is my first time. The pain came and I thought I was going to die! In fact, I was begging the Lord to either take the pain away or bring me home! Becky finally got a hold of an ER doctor and he told her that he would order some pain medication and we could go pick it up at our local drugstore. Thankfully, we had almost a full bottle of stuff left over from when Tom had knee surgery. After about an hour, the pain finally was bearable and I got a few hours of sleep.

So, about every 4 hours I have to down a few pills to make it through and here we are, more than 24 hours later, and the kidney stone hasn't passed yet! Not that I'm looking forward to this passing through...but I sure wish it would!

I am suppose to have surgery on Tuesday. They found a polyp on my bladder and want to get in there and scrap it off to make sure it's not a tumor or cancerous. They were going to laser the kidney stone while in there...but hopefully it will pass before then. Now I'm not sure they will want to do surgery since I've been on this medication all weekend. They wanted my body clean of all meds. I guess I'll find out tomorrow what they will want to do.

Mark, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I have never had a kidney stone, only heard about them, and everything I hear tells me that I should pray double hard for you. Keep us up to date on your bladder surgery and if you have it Tuesday, let us know how you are doing. In addition to Matt we will definatley pray for you at 4 O'Clock today. Peace, John
