It's been great having our son home for the Christmas holidays. I was able to take some time off for surgery and recovery and he was able to run NBTA during that time. We couldn't have stayed open without him! Sadly, he leaves today to get back to school and we are going to miss him...but, I think he is ready to get back and get on with his life. As a freshman in college he is starting to learn to be independent of his old folks and is realizing that he has his own life to live. He is ready to get back and I'm sure ready to make his own decisions again instead of having to check in with us on a daily basis! We're proud of him and thankful that he is looking forward to his next semester.
The good news is that he made the varsity baseball team and will be playing this spring. That means we get to go down and watch him play starting next month! Now...if I can only figure out how to run NBTA while I'm a 130 miles away.

Hey Mark - I know you enjoyed the time with your son.... It is always sad to see them go.... I also know you will figure out a way to see him play as much as possible. Cheers, john
I see we will have to add Tom and Raleigh to the concert you and Michael will be doing for us bloggers.. :)
Raleigh and I were really pleased to see Tom on our recent trip to your place. I can hardly believe those boys have grown up this quickly!
