I found this school about 8 months ago and decided that it was not right for us to pursue at the time. I asked the owner if he would email me this spring if it had not sold. Due to what the Lord is doing in our lives, our extended family's lives, when he emailed...we had to go and see what this was all about.
I was hoping it to be the right setting for a baseball camp but now feel that this may be waiting for my nephew who is possibly moving back to our area to start a school to train missionaries as they head out to minister around the world. My two nephew's and their families, and niece, have been missionaries in Thailand for the past 14 plus years and now feel led to help more people prepare for their ministries. Also, being from a missionary family myself (Korea) our family has always felt a desire to have a place for missionaries to spend time getting away to retreat in a place that is quiet and away from the cares of the world. A place to give them a time of refreshing before they head back to their field.
Still...not sure if this is what we are called to do at this time but, the owner has given my a selling price that if I told you what it was, you would think I'm nuts for not buying the property! So, we ask for your prayers as to what we should do. It may not be for our vision, but it may be for someone that the Lord will bring into the picture. It's an amazing place that really has no problems or in much need of repair...but I believe it needs the right people to use it for the glory of God. Pray the Lord shows us it's purpose! Who knows...maybe its for all the things I mentioned and much more than I could ever dream.

it is a beautiful place and a tough decision also. May the Lord direct you to make the right one.
We will hold you in our prayers as you make this decision. Peace, john
Could be sweet Mark. God bless you with wisdom and discernment!
say, can I come and work for you.. :)
any need for old people..lol
I'm old and I allow myself to work here! I guess we can take on someone that's over 30!
Soooo it looks inviting, interesting and very appealing. I pray the Lord as always directs your path. As for whom the property, land and beautiful setting is waiting upon. I believe it is the Lord who already owns it and is looking for someone (maybe a Boaz type kinsmen-redeemer) to step up to the plate so to speak and redeem the Lord's land.
Just something to ponder and pray about...oh yea, be careful Mark if you plan to do any outside painting. Be sure you keep the Explorer out of the vacinity of paint fumes and cigaretttes. :o)
Really funny Pam! You know I would stand at least 20 ft away!
