My niece Amber and her husband Bobby welcomed their first child Caleb Robert into the world on April 22
nd around 9:22 in the evening. The had to do a C-section for this 8lb 13oz - 2o 1/2 incher...and mother, baby, and dad are doing well.
Top picture includes my nephew
Jaisun holding his nephew and the bottom picture is great-aunt Becky holding Caleb.
Now, I have another chance on helping to raise a baseball player! Although, it's going to be tough. Talk about a family that doesn't like baseball. I couldn't get Jaisun and Christian interested enough to stick with it...but it really wasn't their fault. My sister and her husband think baseball is way to boring and takes way too much time out of your life! I'm going to have to work on Amber and Bobby. They fall into that same mind set.
Anyway...welcome little Caleb!

Happy Birthday dad! Today would have been my dad's 92nd birthday. I miss him terribly but thank God daily for giving our family a father who taught us to love and cherish life. All life. A man who knew his Father and walked in His ways all the days of his life. A man who knew that his life was created to love and serve others and taught it by his actions even more than with his words. He gave unconditionally and if only I could learn to do the same. I love you dad.

I was extremely fortunate to have my dad around till he was 98yrs old, and do so thank the Lord that I was able to enjoy him as long as I did. I think our fathers were pretty much alike, willing to do anything for anybody and glad we both have followed that path Mark.
Now, about this not liking baseball!!!lolol. Who dares not love it????
Congrats to everyone!!!!
congratulations and good luck (with the baseball thing!!)
