Blazer Baseball Break

After spending most of Sunday at our new facility, (yes, we did get a cage up!) we headed to see Tom play a game with the Nashville Blazers. It's good to see him play with a good team and see how comfortable he is walking on with guys he doesn't really know.

They had Tom lead off and playing left field against (what I was told), a team from Memphis, TN that is ranked in the top 10 teams of the country in this particular league. A short summary, Tom was walked twice, hit by a pitch, hit a single, stole 3 bases, and crossed the plate 3 times. The Blazers won 6-4. It was a great game to watch. The level of play (especially the pitching) was above the level of what I saw Tom face in college this past year. That's really not saying much...and probably not accurate. We were only able to get to a few games down in Chattanooga.

So today I go back to the new facility and try to get a few more things done. Couldn't get my DSL line working yesterday and I don't know if that means my credit card system won't work either. Gotta have that working! So many boxes to unpack, a lot of thinking and trying things to make this place comfortable and workable for all.
