Baseball Break...And they say Palin isn't ready?

Tom Baldwin in Washington

Joe Biden, the Democratic vice-presidential nominee, has told Americans to expect a “major international crisis” that will present an early test of a Barack Obama administration.

His comments were seized upon by the campaign of John McCain yesterday, which deployed Rudy Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York, to raise fresh doubts about the inexperience and preparedness of Mr Obama to be commander-in-chief.

Mr Biden, who was speaking at a fundraiser in Seattle on Sunday night, said: “Mark my words, it will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here . . . we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

Mr Biden cited Russia and the Middle East as possible places that may cause problems, as well as the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan – “crawling with al-Qaeda” – as being of concern.

“He’s gonna need help,” the senator added, “Because it’s not gonna be apparent, initially, that we’re right.”

He added: “I probably shouldn’t have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here.” (there's more...follow the link above for the full article: Click on "Tom Baldwin in Washington")

Biden being Biden....kinda like Manny being Manny. Problem is Biden is suppose to have a brain and is possibly going to be the next VP. Manny just wants to play baseball.

I believe what Biden was saying here (like we don't know) is that the messiah of the world will be tested but with our total devotion of this true socialist who is determined to destroy every bit of the Constitution...America will be in good hands as Obama calms the seas and we become one with the world. He's just setting up the scene so it will be easier to follow when it does happen. And yes, Joe is right. It will happen.

Sorry folks...I do know this is suppose to happen so it's not a big surprise. Joe didn't have to leak the news. Scripture makes it clear that mankind will come to this. I was just hoping it would be hundreds of years after I'm gone. The good news is that the church will finally repent as things become more evil and self serving by the elite ones.

But you don't go to church, do you? (Just kidding, my friend.) I know that "the church" you don't attend is not necessarily "The Church" of which you speak.

No, I don't go to church...haven't figured out how you go to church when we are the church!

And yes, I'm speaking in the largest "church" description as I can. How about the "ones who say they follow Jesus".

I voted today.

Good answer . . . and good job on the voting, although I'm guessing some of our votes completely contradicted each other.
