Though it was a short visit, the grandkids came to see us this weekend. Like most things in life, it's amazing how fast they are growing up! Evan is 5 and Julianna is 3. Though our son is now divorced from their mother Patti, Patti wants to make sure that they know their grandparents. That's a blessing for us and we hope that it will continue through the years. Patti made the long drive from Iowa with her new family that consists of 3 more kids! Of course we made a stop at NBTA to play a little baseball before they headed back home yesterday. I think Evan may be a natural athlete...and like his dad, he seems to have no fear of the ball. He got hit a few times by stepping in the way of a few 40 mph pitches and never flinched!

Beck and the grandkids
