Morning

Poured a cup of coffee, grabbed my smokes, and took Nabi out to the front porch so she could look over her kingdom while I tried to wake up. It's a beautiful day with lots of blue sky and sunshine.

The large tree that stands in our front yard became a jungle gym for the neighborhood squirrels, so I got my phone to take a picture of the 10 or so that were chasing each other up and down the limbs. Of course, you can't see them in my picture, but they were fascinating to watch. Even Nabi who just usually barks at squirrels, had her eyes fixed on them as they jumped and chased each other up and down the tree.

Watching the game of tag that they were playing brought some words of Jesus to mind..."Don't be anxious about your life, what you eat or drink, what you wear...life is more than food and clothes. Look at the birds (in this case squirrels), they don't plant their own food or store it in barns...but your Father feeds them. Aren't you more valuable than them?"
