Got to Vanderbilt at 6:00am and by 8:00am I was in surgery. My wife said they were done within about 45 minutes. I was released around 11 and home by noon!So as you can tell my before and after picture shows what can be done these days!
Just to let you know...I'm really not drinking the Murphy's Stout yet...but it will be downed real soon to celebrate the crushing of the stone!

Thanks! Glad you had a good beer on hand Dennis! Celebrate but ask the Lord to bring down the pain when I pee! It's 10 times worse than when I had the stone in...it's over fairly quick but I feel I won't make it for a minute there.
Amber...thanks. I know you love me but it's not nice to make fun of your uncle!!!!!!!! I am glad that Becky shot my front side instead of my back side! Now that would have been a picture.
John...must have been writing when you were! Read what I said to Dennis. The pain is horrible and I know it's coming and can't do a thing about it...that stinks! Thanks for praying for me.
I like the 'after' shot much better than the 'before' one, although like Amber said, you look pretty good in that gown. And hey, I'll hoist a Murphy's with you whenever you feel ready! Get WELL, brother.
