So when I uploaded all my pictures from my digital camera I found that there were quite a few pictures that were missing! I didn't even have a picture of my sister's "chateau"! So I called her up last night and she sent me this picture...hoping more will come to show the entire place. From left to right is Sid & Jenetta (my oldest sister and her husband) Sherry (she and Michael who probably was taking this picture own this place) and then Jesse the most incredible dog! Jesse showed up on the ranch when they first started building and has become the true owner of the entire 55 acres.This is really a picture of the back of the house. It looks over a large open field that they allow a local farmer to use for his cows to graze in four or five times a week. The field is surrounded completely by trees and as you sit on the back porch, there is not a tower or electric lines to be seen. Deer roam onto the land and at night you can see thousands of stars and hear coyotes howling.
Michael and Sherry for years would go to France on vacation and would stay out in the country at different Chateaus...so they finally decided to build their own so they could enjoy the country more than once a year. As soon as you drive onto this property..you do feel like you've entered another world. I'll get some more pictures up soon.

Beautiful place...that's a lot of land to own.
Too much land for this city boy...but it sure was nice to visit.
