Blah, blah, blah...

Right outside my doors in the mall I'm in you can look out over a play area for kids. As you know, I'm all about kids! I love working with them and love to teach and help them whether it's in our baseball academy or at the ministry I am involved with. But one thing that drives me nuts...is screaming kids!

Now, don't get me wrong. I think all kids need to let out the steam and run around acting nuts at time and scream a bit. BUT...in a shopping mall?! This has been going on day after day for over three years. It's not so much the kids screaming at the top of their lungs that bothers me, it's the parents who sit there and allow it! What is up with parents these days? Nearly every time I go out to see if I can make eye contact with the screaming kids parents, they are usually extremely young and sometimes don't look old enough to even have kids! I just don't get it.

Now on to something else. We're headed back to Chattanooga for the day tomorrow to see our son play in their first official fall game of the year. Don't know if he'll actually play...but it will be good to be there and take in a good ball game. From what I understand, the team they are playing "Chattanooga State Jr. College" is ranked 2nd in the nation of Jr. colleges! Who knew?!

Have a great weekend everyone!
