We had a great Thanksgiving yesterday. Turkey, ham, and all the trimmings...and way too much of it - but, I was able to have enough strength to only fill my plate once and not eat so much.
There were eleven of us sitting around a table for 8. We added a little card table at the end to get us all sitting together...and it was a bit tight! But so worth it!
My brother in laws parents came from Mexico, my son and my brother Nam came from Chattanooga, and the rest of us live here. Sadly, my son in Iowa was missing.
My niece made some incredible dishes and brought along her ultrasound to show us the baby boy that will be joining us next Thanksgiving! We're going to have to get a bigger table...cause' this is just the start of our kids having kids.
I'm so thankful for my family. We are an unusual lot! We are a perfect picture of what America is. We are a nation of many nations. A potpourri from all over the world. I wanted to take a picture of us to post today, but totally forgot to do it. We were having too much fun hanging out.
Bless you all and hope that you all finish up your leftovers!
