Happy New Year

Mark 9:35 has been the verse that I have tried to write on my heart for many years. I just don't want it written on my heart but I want to live it and make it such a natural part of my life that when my time has come and I stand before God he will say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

The New Year always brings us to a time of reflection and a time to make new resolutions and promises for the days ahead. I never make New Year's resolutions but I pray each new year that I will grow in maturity a little more and become what we are all destined to become...more like Christ.

May all of you be blessed and may this year be the best ever for you.

Happy New Year!

Thanks, Mark. I know it's not my place to judge, but I think you're doing fairly well with the Mark 9:35 thing. I look forward to another year of our friendship.

Actually Michael, you are called to judge me as my brother in the Lord! We are are called to keep each accountable to the call...not that we want to be judged and held accountable, but we NEED to be! That's one way we grow and remain faithful to God and each other. Thanks for your encouragement and I too look forward to another year of our friendship! You're a great man that God has blessed and placed in my life...and I am very thankful for that. Love you Professor!
