Empty shell and cold air.

This is what our new facility looked like a few weeks ago. The wall on the right has been framed up, drywalled and painted, and in the back where the truck is, a huge garage door and a normal exit door is sort of in...it's been drywalled too, just not painted. I may get to that one day. Anyway, tomorrow I hope to remember to take a picture before I come home. It will have brand new turf carpet and probably a temporary cage set up. It's going to be nice to see the change.

So I have tried a few ways of hanging cages. None of them have worked so far, and the one that I have hung looks awful, but is usable! We've taught a few lessons this past week and have a few for the Friday and Saturday.

We've also been preparing to paint the store area. What a pain! Even though we are priming the walls, it's going to take a few coats to make this old place look decent. Lots of work...hope I get to stay here a long time.

The best news for the day is that around 4 this afternoon the air conditioner guy finally showed up! We have air now! At least in the store part. It's been so hot and by the time I left tonight, I was acutally a bit chilled. Whoever invented air conditioners...BLESS YOU!

Hang in there, brother. Maybe some cool air will chill out your brain and help you figure how to hang those dang cages!
