What do you do after teaching baseball all day?

Go to a baseball game!Iribarren started off the first inning for the Sounds with a double. Tony Gwynn (picture above) bunted for a single and moved Iribarren over to third.

Then Dillion gets up and hits a three run homer! The Sounds looked like a baseball team tonight which was kinda nice! Not a good year for them. Anyway, the Sounds plowed over Round Rock and won 9 -0!

I bought a ticket from some guy outside the stadium and found a seat about ten rows up right behind home plate! A Great seat and right by about 5 MLB scouts who were using their radar guns to check out the pitchers. What was amazing is that the Sounds pitcher (Gulin) was throwing fast balls in the high 70's and his change ups were as slow as 58 mph! Now just to let you know...I have kids in middle and high school that throw faster than that!
But that is what is great about baseball. It's all about how you work the batter as a pitcher and Gulin was a master at it. He struck out 10 batters, only 3 hits off him, and he pitched a shut out.
That's great pitching!

Hawaii beats Louisiana 7-5 and wins the US title (Incredible game). Tomorrow they play Mexico
for the Little League World Series Championship. Don't miss it!!!!! Baseball at it's best!

Hawaii has a great team! But I have to admit, Mexico is pretty amazing too. I guess we'll see who is at their best tomorrow! Go Hawaii!

Glad to be of service! I thought that might be a nice touch since I never have time to look it all up.
