The Dodgers have won their last 7 games and now are in first place in the West. I was so excited when we found out that Manny had decided to go with LA and now we see just how important that was to Joe Torre and the Dodgers. Manny is coming through with his bat and taking this team to a new level. Just his presence is obviously giving the boost for all the players to step up and make this year a year to remember. Torre as the new manager will take his popularity over the wall should he take this team to the World Series. How many guys can walk into a new situation and get them this far so quick?! Torre is amazing.It's been a long time for the Dodgers. It would be soooo nice to see them go all the way.

OK, Twins are crashing....so, that is fine, it makes me able to rout for the LAD.
Ruth, you know my favorite AL team are the Twins! I hope they can pull it out and the Dodgers and Twins go at it. That would be fun to watch. I'm a big Joe Nathan fan...I'm hoping the Dodgers will get him. But of course after they play them for the WS!
