My brother and his wife Theresa came to Nashville to visit us! A week of hanging out with them was just too short. It seems that we didn't have enough time to really talk and do things that we thought we might talk about or do...but, I guess that's just the way it is. Life goes by so quick these days.
Every night (except Friday) we went to my sisters house and had a family dinner and hang out time. Of course, I was late each night due to my job...but, they would have a plate ready for me and great fellowship. Friday was my birthday and it was spent at my nephews house. A great time of eating, drinking (not alot!!!), and fellowship, ending with a time of a great theological discussion which we all knew was just an exercise of something we would never be able to answer. I think the one who made the most sense of it was the high schooler among us. We had a great week and I'm already wishing for their return trip or us getting out to see them someday.
Anyway, I've been trying to get my brother to do a blog. I love the way he thinks and of course, I'd love to be able to know what's going on in their lives way out there in California. Phil has a unique way of thinking about things and I am always amazed when he choose to sit down and write his thoughts out. So...as you see in the picture, I got him to sit down in our facility and start a blog! Knowing him...he will probably not be a daily blogger, but maybe I can get him on board enough to write something out every once in awhile. Maybe if I give out his blog url...he might be forced to do it more often! SO...www.chesshircats.blogspot.com
