Mother's Day

Like a good husband, I got up early and didn't cook breakfast...but did make it to Mrs. Winners and get a hot cinnamon swirl for the mom of the day. Of course, the son stayed in bed. Thankfully, he did remember to lay out a card on the kitchen counter in front of the Mother's Day gift...a Pentax digital camera! Wolf Camera is closing down 3 of their stores here in Nashville and I scored a tremendous deal. So, this morning was spent trying to figure out how to use it. Becky read the whole book which seems to be a little over the top. Point and click. Works for me!

So here is her first picture that was downloaded into our computer, Nabi, the world's greatest dog that lives in our house. She was looking out over her kingdom from the front porch, when Becky got her to turn around and pose for her. There was a picture of me that I could have posted, but believe me, you wouldn't want to have seen that.

Anyway, had a great day with mom. Did a little shopping for a few extra things she wanted to go with her camera, ate at 5 Guys, the best burger joint around, then went to the theater to see "The Soloist". Sad but a good movie.
