The International Festival Institute at Round Top, Texas
This doesn't even show half of whats there. Cabins for visiting musicians, a huge concert hall, gardens, waterfalls....really a beautiful place. I guess this is world famous...we just didn't get that info in Tennessee.
Not more than 3 miles from where we stayed is the gas station that Yao Ming did the commercial that we've all seen on tv. The place and the people who ran it were a trip! Talk about going back in time. I bought a 6 pack of Shiner Bock and 2 gallons of Blue Bonnet ice cream from them. At least the beer was good...
