Who knew they could do it?! At the beginning of the season a friend of mine told me that I needed to be following the Rockies because they had a chance to go to the World Series. Of course, like most baseball fans I just looked at him and laughed. I think he's laughing now...
It's great to see this team do so well and it's great to see Tennessee's own
Todd Helton finally get to the biggest game of all. He's a class act and this
is a well deserved honor. Todd grew up about 25 minutes up the road from
where we live and went to the University of Tennessee. He has a lot of fans here and I'm sure they will all be watching when the Rockies take on Cleveland or Boston in the World Series.
If you didn't notice, the profile picture I'm using now is a picture I took when my son and I visited Coors Field this summer. I should have know then that the Rockies were headed to the World Series! They whipped up on our LA Dodgers pretty bad that week!
