CT SCAN

This is what I got to do today. That's not me in the picture, but the machine kind of looked like this one. So while they were taking pictures of my whatever is hiding behind my flesh suit, I'm thinking..."this growing old stuff is for the birds!"

Won't have final results of things and still have to do another test next week, but it looks like I'm fine for awhile. The thing they found today seems to be the culprit of my pain. A simple kidney stone. Doc said it's not too big and didn't seem to want to give me any other information about what was next in my life. But as you can imagine...I'm hearing the dreaded stories of how much pain this causes and I better hope that I die first instead of feeling the pain that may take place! Great. Just what I wanted to hear from friends who have gone through this!

So, I'm still sick with a cold and now going through this. My kidney aches and I'm coughing like a madman at times. But the good news is...it hasn't kept me down! I'm still working and actually feel decent enough to get things done.

Tomorrow I have been invited to the MLB Winter Conference to see some major league players receive awards from the League. My greatest desire for tomorrow is not to see all the MLB players, though that will be nice...but, I just hope I get to meet my all time favorite Tommy Lasorda. He is my hero.
