TTU Wins Opening Game of the Season

Tennessee Temple University pulled it out in
the bottom of the 12th inning winning 7-6 over Covenant College!

Of course, I wasn't allowed to get a great picture of Tom...his new number is 17,

As a freshman and it being the first game of the season we didn't expect Tom to play...but yes,
it was hard to watch him sit around in the dugout, waiting for a possible chance to play.
He was signed to take over centerfield when the senior graduates at the end of this year. Thankfully, Tom is great with that and is working hard to make sure that when he takes over, he does as good of a job. The TTU centerfielder is our lead off batter with wheels and as you know, Tom can hit and has wheels too! It's good that he is working under a great player for a year!
