I was creating a new blog page for my son the other night and going through some old boxes looking for pictures of him in his baseball uniforms. I ran across some pictures of Michael and me at what I think was a New Years Eve gig in Asheville North Carolina. I'm sure Michael will set me straight on this...he knows I can't remember anything and I'm usually wrong about the details! I have no idea who took these pictures (maybe my wife?) but, whomever did, they somehow never got the whole band in anything! Steve Grossman is playing the drums back there...Dave Jakes was our bass player (this evening anyway), and David Ecrement was playing keyboards.
Anyway, I thought I'd post it to remind the Code Man that he promised to start writing about his days in the music business. He has some great stories and I would bet a few great pictures.

Cool pics, Mark. And you're absolutely right--New Year's Eve at Elaine's, the nightclub in the bowels of the famed Grove Park Inn in Asheville. If I'm remembering right, they even gave us rooms for the night. But I might be mistaken. This was something like 1991 and thus almost 17 years ago.
Good to see Steve. I miss that guy.
