Hermans Hermits

Sorry about the ad...guess it's worth it to see the original HH.

I'm in the waiting room at my chiropractors and this guy walks in and sits down across from me, talking on his phone with an English accent and I'm hearing he's not feeling too well. Being in the music business for many years I'm thinking that I met him somewhere and just couldn't place him. We nod heads as my doctor comes out to get me and takes me back for an adjustment. Then it hits me..."Mrs. Brown you've got a lovely daughter" That was Peter Noone! I was pretty young when that song came out and wouldn't you know it...I still remembered the tune and after 40 plus years I remembered the face of the guy who sang that song. Unbelieveable. I can't even remember who came into my store yesterday...

Awesome!! That was back when music was exciting and there were great new innovative things coming out all the time. Long gone, those days. Just about EVERY record was completely new and fresh and different. Now days? Not so much.

I'm glad that Nashville hasn't gotten too big to offer moments like that.
