21 years young...

Becky and I got up super early Saturday and made it to Louisville to see Tom and celebrate the day with him. He turned 21 yesterday! Watched 2 games and then the coach allowed Tom to leave with us. We drove to Bowling Green and stopped by one of Tom's (and ours) favorite places to eat. The Outback. A relaxing dinner with of course, a drink with our son! This is not a picture of yesterday...can't show my son drinking (Dr. Pepper) you know.

Anyway, we had a great time being with him and made it back to Nashville around 7 or 8 pm. Tom took off a little later to see some of his hometown friends. Thankfully, he's responsible and got home safe and fairly early.

We drove him back half way to Chatt town today and met up with his girlfriend Josie in Manchester. She's a great girl and Tom is blessed to have one like her.

So 21...wow. I can't believe he's already at this age. It seems like we just got started the other day as parents. We're proud of him and hope for a good long life full of joy.

They do grow up fast, don't they. He is a very handsome young man, and you both did a wonderful job as a parent.
