Dang dog...Dang Yanks....

Got up this morning knowing I was to take our dog to the vet. She's got a girlie dog problem and seems to be uncomfortable. Anyway, I open the door to the animal hospital very slowly to see if any dogs waiting their turn to be seen by the doc should decide to jump on me as I come in. A huge black dog is trying hard to pull it's master toward me and I back up a bit. I asked, "Does he bite?" The lady looked at me and said, "No...but do you?!"

Our dog is going to be fine. Just have to feed her two different types of pills and stick some kind of cream on her where she doesn't want me to stick it...and this has to go on for at least a week. Twice a day. Dang dog.

After that I went to see my friend Ben at the Nashville Sounds office. They had a nice package for me that will be auctioned off at our Cottage Cove Silent Auction that's coming up next month. Good people work for the Sounds. Great organization. After our visit I headed to Cottage Cove and then on to my friend Mike's business. Dropped off some info on Cottge Cove and got to see his place of work. It's massive...big warehouse that would make a great place for NBTA. But after hearing what they pay each month I think I'll stick to where I am.

We had a few show up for lessons today at NBTA, a few cancellations. We ended the day making less than what I'm going to have to pay out for opening up. Seems to be a trend right now. Maybe I need to move. Bellevue hasn't ever really supported businesses here...We have a beautiful mall that's empty. When it first opened 20 years ago it did okay..but after a few years it started going down and never has really picked back up. I was looking over my books and I don't think I have had anyone who is actually from our town come for lessons in the past three months. Oh well....need to figure this out before too long.

Ended the evening having dinner at the local Jonathan's Sports Bar with my son and good friend jb...watched the Yanks and the Tigers in the first game playoff. Why couldn't the Tigers just smoke em! Dang Yanks...

There you have it. I'm done. Tired and ready to hang it up for the day.

Such business decisions have to be tough. I hope all works out well.

I have fond memories of the early days of that mall--meeting Philip Aaberg when he performed at the opening, eating at that little hamburger joint that used the potato bread buns. Too bad it's fallen on difficult times.
