A new week

We didn't get to play our baseball games this weekend! The field was covered in water and so all those who are having to take their ACT test this next Saturday, was hoping to get in one last game before winter sets in. Hate that for the kids! Well..hated it for me! We were going to play a team that I really wanted to beat before the season ended and this was our last shot at trying. Guess I'll have to live without ever knowing if we could have beat them.

Enjoying the World Series. I really do love this game. The thing I hate the most is when it ends...there will be football and basketball taking up all the channels. Football isn't that bad...but basketball I can't stand to watch....and it seems to go on forever. Guess I might have to stick with the History Channel for the winter.

Looking forward to a new week and getting prepared for this coming Saturday "Evening of Elegance" fund rasier for Cottage Cove. We've been working for quite a few months on this and as usual, we're down to the last week and it looks like nothing is coming together as it should. But...I know from the past it always works this way! Everyone waits for the last minute to decide how they will support this work. You'd think by now I would learn to trust the Lord and not worry. Anyway...here's to a new week! May the Lord bless it.
