Well...the Mets lost. I was really hoping they would win. I wanted to see them and Detroit battle it out in the World Series. But hey..Congratulations St Louis! You've got a great team.

My highschool fall ball team came in today and practiced. I've got some great guys on the team. Today they showed their friendship to each other and had a great time hitting and throwing. It was good to see the guys laughing and having fun...but really working on their game. We play on Saturday and we will be playing the toughest team in the league again. I'm kind of looking forward to it and hope that this will be the weekend the team really comes together. If there is any team these guys need to beat...it's this one!

A good friend of ours (Jackie S) ened up in the hospital today. Thankfully, he's doing better and I hope he'll be able to get home tomorrow. They're not sure what happened, but it sounds like a few things caused the problem. Jackie is diabetic and they said he had a touch of pneumonia and his blood pressure was really high. Today his blood sugar went a little wacky...so they are running a bunch of different tests. Hopefully they will figure out what's going on.

Guess everything else went as usual today. Still looking for a flood of new students for us at NBTA. We did sign up a couple of new ones...so maybe it's starting! Keep praying...I really want to keep this place going.,
