Pacman Jones
Adam "Pacman" Jones is in trouble again. Okay...the guy's a great player but he has some real issues. I think it's time we start praying for this man.
Celebrity is such a dangerous thing. A part of me is glad that the dreams I had of stardom didn't come true. Another part wonders why the heck they didn't.
Okay, I will pray for him and you help me pray for Michael Vick... and Michael Cody is correct - celebrity can have it's drawbacks... as for you, Michael, I think you are a celebrity at ETSU and Cherokee Church.... who knows where you might find it!!!!
I agree with Quig!!!..Michael, you are a celebrity to me. My wish in life was to be able to sing in a church choir, and have this lovely Alto voice that would be heard over all the others. Well, since I only have a 2 note range, and tone deaf....it ain't going to happen.
So, is it not possible to be both celebrity and servant? Service is part of my job at ETSU, so, celebrity or not, that's that. But if indeed I'm something of a "celebrity" at Cherokee, do I need to stop what I'm doing and look for quieter ways to serve?
Absolutely not! Being a celebrity comes from those looking and knowing you. And what better way to be known...a servant. You don't create it when you are serving. Kinda like Peter, James, John, Paul, Mary, Rebecca, Esther, David.

I'll pray for Vick...and the whole dang NFL!
We don't need to be celebrities...just servants.
