VT - life will never be the same

I was trying to stay away from writing about this story from VT, but having friends that work in some of our finest schools and universities around the country, I decided I needed to write something. I'm sure it will offend or annoy some, but this is not a time for me to be silent or afraid that I may be considered foolish. I will gladly be a fool if that is what it takes to reach even one to live for the Kingdom of God.

I was stunned when I turned on the TV the day Cho decided it was time to take revenge. Everyone is talking about how he was imbalanced and crazy. I understand that, but I believe it was a much deeper problem than just being a little nuts. I believe Cho was possessed by a demon or demons. We don't talk about that much these days since we are beyond that in our technological advanced tolerant age. Demonic forces are as real today as they were as real in the days of Jesus and before that....and Cho manifested the forces as we all now have viewed from his own videos and writings, and of course viewed by having to see those lives that he murdered.

Not only is it awful that this guy was able to shoot so many innocent kids because of the lack of counseling and understanding of spiritual things by the educated ones who allowed him back in school, but it was awful to watch, read, and listen to a lot of the words that came from the educated leaders of the university, as well as, those in the media and government.

I spent the day watching the service that VT held for those who were murdered. Allah was praised, Buddha and the Dali Lama were mentioned and quoted, the spirit of the Hokies praised, but not one time was Jesus mentioned by those who portrayed themselves as leaders in the so called Christian community. I don't know if it was because they were ashamed of Jesus, or they didn't feel like Jesus was needed in this situation, or... if the school and/or government has now outlawed the "name above every name" to be mentioned in a public setting. Whatever the reason, it was a sad day for America, the University, the kids who died, and the kids who must remain and live within a community that is ashamed to speak and call on the name of Jesus.

To all my believing friends who teach and are in leadership roles; Don't be ashamed to teach the Gospel. Don't be afraid to help those who need help. Pray. Speak the name of Jesus. Pray more. Be a witness to those who need to see Jesus and need to be freed from the power of the dark forces that are violently making there way across this land. You are temples of the LIVING God. God makes His dwelling place in you. Live and Love the way Jesus showed you and will show you as you give yourselves for His truth. Live and love so that the world may see Jesus.
