Another day in paradise.

This is my second day since surgery. Certain things are getting better...but my whole body feels like it's been through a train wreck! My nurse left me this morning and so now I get to try doing all this stuff on my own. So far so good...she left about 30 minutes ago!

Yesterday there was a report about the Bellevue Center Mall where NBTA is located. There is another hold on the sale of the property! This is great news for NBTA and the remaining businesses that are still hanging in there. Metro have to come up with a reasonable solution on how they will give the new owners a break on the taxes...once they make a decision it will force them to deal with any companies coming to build in the Davidson County area to give them the same incentives for coming. I pray this takes a long time for them to figure out!

Now my hope is that I can get about 4 or 5 more months here to take NBTA through the spring season of baseball! What a blessing that would be for not only us, but all the kids getting prepared for the new season.

Hi Mark,
I hope you did OK all day without your nurse. It sounds like you have more time available in the building with NTBA, that is GREAT news. We just have to let the Lord take over, and everything is possible. I hear that you are meeting with Michael this weekend! I hope you guys have a wonderful time.
A very merry Christmas and the happiest of new years to you and Becky.

Thanks all. I seem to be a bit better this morning. Not getting as much sleep as I want...but I guess rest will have to do. No songs are bursting through other than; "Take this stone and shove it, I don't want you around no more!"

Michael and Raleigh should be here this weekend, but not sure how much hospitality they're gonna see from me! It will be good to see them though.
