Saturday Morning.

I actually slept for 5 straight hours last night before having to get up! Usually, I get an hour in before I have to make my way to the torture chamber. The pain is getting a little less and after talking to a nurse yesterday, I now understand it will continue until I take the stent out. Two more days...

The test results came back and we were able to read them off the website set up for us. The diagnosis for the polyp is a "Papillary Urothelial Neoplasm of Low Malignant Potential". Which in our understanding after reading up on stuff (doc hasn't called us yet) it is the lowest form of cancer and usually does not go into the next level. And I assume that by them cutting it off, it's just gone. I'm sure the doc will give us more information.

The kidney stone was called a "Calculus". No real info on it other than it was a kidney stone and submitted for chemical analysis.

So two more days with the stent and they say once it's out, the pain will subside and I will feel much better. This really wasn't what I was expecting to go through! But now that I'm almost over the hump, I guess it was the right thing to do.

I need to go Christmas shopping. I have always done it at the last minute, knowing what I want to get, just procrastinating, so I hope I will be able to take care of something today and tomorrow. It would be nice not to have to shop on Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas everyone!

That is good news Mark… I too had a bladder tumor removed nearly 5 years ago now. It was more advanced than yours, but we believe that my urologists got it all. I am having yearly checkups and so far so good – Praise the Lord.

I hope you can get your shopping done and have a wonderful Christmas. God bless you and your family, John
